How to Bulk Suspend Multiple Client Accounts in WHM?
When you need to suspend multiple client accounts at once — for example, at the end of a billing cycle for non-paying clients — WHM's bulk action feature saves significant time compared to suspending accounts one by one.
Bulk Suspend via List Accounts
- Login to WHM.
- Go to Account Information → List Accounts.
- Use the Search or Filter to narrow down accounts (e.g., filter by package name to target a specific tier of clients).
- Check the boxes next to the accounts you want to suspend.
- Or click Select All to select every account in the filtered view.
- From the Action dropdown at the top or bottom of the list, select Suspend.
- Enter a reason for the suspension.
- Click Confirm.
All selected accounts are suspended simultaneously. Each account's website goes offline and their cPanel access is locked.
Bulk Unsuspend Multiple Accounts
- Go to WHM → Account Information → List Suspended Accounts.
- Check the boxes next to accounts to unsuspend.
- Select Unsuspend from the Action dropdown.
- Confirm.
Best Practice: Before bulk suspending, always send a final payment reminder email. Unexpected suspensions frustrate clients and increase support tickets and chargebacks.
