How to Add an Autoresponder in cPanel

An autoresponder automatically sends a pre-written reply to anyone who emails you. This is useful for out-of-office notices, vacation messages, order confirmations, or any situation where you want to acknowledge emails immediately.

Steps to Create an Autoresponder

  1. Login to cPanel.
  2. Under the Email section, click Autoresponders.
  3. Click Add Autoresponder.
  4. Fill in the form:
    • Character Set: Leave as utf-8.
    • Interval: Set how many hours to wait before resending the reply to the same sender (e.g., 24 hours).
    • Email: Enter the email address this autoresponder is for (e.g., info).
    • Domain: Select your domain.
    • From: Enter the sender name (e.g., SKPHost Support).
    • Subject: Enter the subject line (e.g., "We received your message").
    • Body: Write your automatic reply message. You can use HTML if you check the HTML checkbox.
  5. Set a Start and Stop time if you want the autoresponder to run only during a specific period.
  6. Click Create/Modify.
