How to Create an Email Address in cPanel
Having a professional email address using your own domain name (e.g., info@yourdomain.com) adds credibility to your business. SKPHost allows you to create unlimited email accounts through cPanel. Follow the steps below.
Steps to Create an Email Address
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Email section, click on Email Accounts.
- Click the Create button.
- Fill in the following details:
- Username: Enter the part before the @ symbol (e.g.,
info). - Domain: Select your domain from the dropdown.
- Password: Set a strong password or use the password generator.
- Mailbox Quota: Set a storage limit (or select Unlimited).

- Click Create to finish.
Tip: Use a strong password for your email account to prevent unauthorized access. SKPHost recommends a minimum of 12 characters.
How to Access Your New Email
Once the email account is created, you can access it in two ways:
- Webmail: Visit
https://yourdomain.com/webmailand log in with your email and password. - Email Client: Configure it in Outlook, Thunderbird, or your mobile email app using IMAP/SMTP settings provided by SKPHost.

cPanel provides three built-in webmail interfaces:
- Roundcube – Clean and modern interface, recommended for most users.
- Horde – Feature-rich with calendar and task management.
- SquirrelMail – Simple and lightweight.
Managing Email Accounts
To edit, delete, or update your email accounts, go to cPanel → Email Accounts. You can change passwords, update quotas, or remove accounts from this page.
