How to Set Up Webmail on a Mobile Device?
You can access your SKPHost email account on your smartphone by configuring it in your phone's built-in email app or using third-party apps like Gmail or Outlook for mobile.
Setting Up on iPhone (iOS Mail)
- Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account.
- Tap Other → Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, full email address, password, and a description.
- Tap Next. iOS will try to auto-configure. If it fails, enter manually:
- IMAP Hostname:
mail.yourdomain.com - Port: 993 (SSL)
- SMTP Hostname:
mail.yourdomain.com - SMTP Port: 465 or 587
- Username: your full email address
- IMAP Hostname:
- Tap Save.
Setting Up on Android
- Open your email app (Gmail or default Mail app).
- Tap Add Account → Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Manual Setup.
- Select IMAP.
- Enter the same incoming/outgoing server settings as iOS above.
- Tap Done.
Tip: Use IMAP instead of POP3 on mobile devices so your emails stay synced across all devices. Changes made on your phone (read, deleted, archived) will reflect everywhere.
Using Auto-Configuration
cPanel can generate a mobile configuration profile:
- Go to cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices.
- Download the iOS or Android configuration profile.
- Open it on your phone to automatically configure the email account.
