How to Unsuspend an Account in WHM?


Unsuspending a client account restores full access to their cPanel, website, and email services. This is done after the client has resolved the reason for suspension (e.g., made a payment or fixed a policy violation).

How to Unsuspend an Account

  1. Login to WHM.
  2. Go to Account Functions → Manage Account Suspension.
  3. Find the suspended account. Suspended accounts are usually shown with a lock icon or marked in red.
  4. Select Unsuspend from the dropdown next to the account.
  5. Click Unsuspend.

The account is restored immediately. The website goes live, cPanel access is enabled, and email services resume.

Alternative: Unsuspend from List Accounts

  1. Go to WHM → Account Information → List Accounts.
  2. Find the suspended account (the Suspended column shows "Yes").
  3. Click Unsuspend in the Actions column.

View All Currently Suspended Accounts

  1. Go to WHM → Account Information → List Suspended Accounts.
  2. All suspended accounts are listed with the reason and suspension date.
  3. You can unsuspend directly from this page.

Checking Why an Account Was Suspended

On the Manage Account Suspension page or List Suspended Accounts, the suspension reason you entered is displayed next to each account. This helps you verify the reason before unsuspending.
