How to Manage Sub-Reseller Accounts in WHM?

You can create sub-reseller accounts to allow partners or employees to manage their own set of client accounts within your reseller server — all under your brand.

Create a Sub-Reseller Account

  1. Login to WHM.
  2. Go to Account Functions → Create a New Account.
  3. Fill in domain, username, password, and email as usual.
  4. Scroll to Reseller Settings.
  5. Check Make this account a reseller.
  6. Select privileges to grant this sub-reseller:
    • Create Accounts
    • Modify Accounts
    • Suspend/Unsuspend Accounts
    • Terminate Accounts
    • DNS Zone Management
    • View Bandwidth Usage
  7. Click Create.

Set Resource Limits via Reseller Center

  1. Go to WHM → Resellers → Reseller Center.
  2. Select the sub-reseller username from the dropdown.
  3. Set their resource limits:
    • Maximum disk space they can allocate to their clients
    • Maximum bandwidth
    • Maximum number of accounts they can create
    • Overselling allowed or not
  4. Click Save.

Edit Sub-Reseller Privileges

  1. Go to WHM → Resellers → Reseller Center.
  2. Find the sub-reseller and click Edit Privileges.
  3. Update which WHM functions they can access.
  4. Click Save.

Note: Sub-resellers get their own WHM login but can only see and manage the accounts they create. They cannot see your main reseller account details or other clients.
