How to Login to cPanel

cPanel is a web-based control panel that allows you to manage all aspects of your hosting account — from files and emails to databases and domains. This guide will show you how to login to cPanel on your SKPHost account.

Method 1: Login via Browser URL

The easiest way to access cPanel is directly through your browser:

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Type your domain followed by :2083 in the address bar. For example:
https://yourdomain.com:2083

Or you can also use your server's IP address:

https://your-server-ip:2083
  1. Enter your cPanel username and password on the login screen.
  2. Click Log In.

Method 2: Login via SKPHost Client Area

  1. Log in to your SKPHost Client Area at skphost.net/clientarea.
  2. Go to My Services and select your hosting account.
  3. Click the Login to cPanel button. You will be logged in automatically (Single Sign-On).

Forgot Your cPanel Password?

If you have forgotten your cPanel password, you can reset it from your SKPHost Client Area:

  1. Go to My Services → Hosting Account → Change Password.
  2. Set a new password and click Save Changes.
  3. Use the new password to login to cPanel.

Note: Make sure your password contains at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters for better security.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

  • Make sure you are using port 2083 for HTTPS or 2082 for HTTP.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies and try again.
  • Check that Caps Lock is not turned on while entering your password.
  • If your IP is blocked, contact SKPHost Support to whitelist your IP.
